Jeremiah 31:33

"Mein unka Khuda hun ga."
Ae Maseehi, in alfaaz mein woh sab kuch hai jo tujhe darkaar ho sakta hai. Tujhe apni haqeeqi khushi ke liye kuch aisa darkaar hai jo tujhe poori tarah sair kare, aur kya yeh us ke liye kaafi nahin? Agar tu is waade ko apne pyaale mein indel le to kya tu Daud ke saath mil kar yeh na kahe ga ke mera pyaala labrez hota hai aur mujhe mere dil ki murad se barh kar mila hai? Jab yeh kalaam poora hota hai ke “main tera Khuda hoon”, to kya tu sab cheezon ka malik nahin ban jata? Khwahish maut ki tarah kabhi sair nahin hoti, magar woh jo sab ko sab kuch deta hai isay bhi sair kar sakta hai. Hamari arzooon ki wus‘at ko kaun naap sakta hai, magar Khuda ki be-qiyaas daulat is se kahin barh kar hai. Main tujh se poochta hoon ke jab Khuda hi tera ho jaye to kya phir bhi tu adhoora rahe ga? Kya Khuda ke siwa tujhe aur kisi cheez ki haajat hai? Agar baqi sab kuch tujhe taskeen na de sake to kya farahmi mein khud-kafeel Khuda tere liye kaafi nahin? Magar tujhe faqat khamosh taskeen se barh kar chahiye, yani woh khushi jise sab dekhein. Ae meri jaan, is waade mein tere liye woh khushi pinhaan hai jo sirf aasman walon ka naseeb hai. Tamam rooh-parwar saazon ki raagniyan aik taraf aur is sheereen waade ki madhur taan aik taraf: “main un ka Khuda hoon ga.” Is mein kaif-o-tarab ka aik ameeq samandar paya jata hai aur haqeeqi masarraton ka aik be-karaan bahr. Ae meri jaan, aa aur is mein ghota-zan ho aur umar bhar isi ke andar mahv-e-farhat reh, to bhi tujhe is ka doosra sira kabhi nahin mile ga, kyunke yeh abadit ka aik aisa be-karaan samandar hai jiska na koi kinara hai na painda. Agar is waade ko sun kar teri aankhon mein chamak aur tere dil mein masarrat paida nahin hoti to phir teri roohani haalat theek nahin. Phir tujhe apni haaliya khushiyon se barh kar kisi aisi cheez ki talab hai jis par tu apni umeed qaim kar sake, magar is azeem waade ki takmeel se barh kar umeed ki aur kaun si bunyaad ho sakti hai ke “main un ka Khuda hoon ga.” Yeh sab waadon ka shahkaar waada hai jise agar iman se khushi ke saath qubool kiya jaye to yeh dharti hi tere liye aasman ban jaye. Apne Malik ke noor mein qaim reh, apni rooh ko us ki mohabbat se sarshaar rakh, is waade ki lazzat aur chiknai se aasooda ho. Is waade mein chhupe fazaail par ghour kar to phir tujhe aisi khushi naseeb hogi jo bayaan se baahir hai.

Psalm 100:2

"Khushi se Khudawand ki ibadat karo."
Ibadat Khuda ki khushnoodi aur qabooliyat ki kunji hai. Jo log udaas chehre ke saath Khuda ki ibadat karte hain, woh use apne liye bojh aur giraan samajhte hain, isi liye yeh kisi soorat Khuda ki maqbool ibadat nahin hoti kyunke woh use rasman ya ta‘zeeman ada to karte hain magar us mein zindagi nahin hoti. Hamara Khuda apne takht ki shaan-o-shaukat barhane ke liye ghulamon ka mohtaaj nahin balkay woh muhabbat ki saltanat ka shehenshah hai aur chahta hai ke us ke khaadim zinda-dili aur khushi ke saath malboos ho kar us ki ibadat karein. Khuda ke farishte aahen bhartay aur barbartay hue us ke huzoor naghma-saraai nahin karte balkay woh khushi ke geet gaate hue us ke huzoor dil se us ki hamd karte hain kyunke mohoom si aah ya barbaraahat un ke lashkar mein baghawat tasawwur hogi. Woh farmanbardari jo khush-dili se na ho, nafarmaani ke zumeray mein aati hai kyunke Khudawand dil par nigaah karta hai aur agar woh dekhe ke aap us ki muhabbat se sarshaar ho kar nahin balkay majboori se us ki ibadat kar rahe hain to woh aisi qurbani ko fil-for rad kar deta hai. Jo ibadat dil se ki jaye wahi haqeeqi ibadat hai. Maseehi imandaar ki zindagi se agar khushi ke saath Khuda ki ibadat aur khidmat karne ka jazba nikaal diya jaye to us ki saari riyazat dhari ki dhari reh jati hai. Agar kisi aadmi ko jabran jang par bhej diya jaye aur us ke dil mein watan-parasti ka jazba hi na ho to woh jawanmardi ke johar kya dikhaye ga; is ke bar‘aks hubb-ul-watni ke jazbay se sarshaar sipahi ki aankhon ki chamak aur chehre ki tabaani bata degi ke woh dushman ke samne seesah pilai hui deewar banne ke liye poori tarah tayyar hai, jis ka izhar woh jangi naghmon mein apni sab se oonchi aur musta‘id awaaz se bhi karta hai aur jangi maidan mein apni jaan hatheli par rakh kar deewana-war larnay se bhi. Dili khushi hamari quwwat ko do-aataasha kar deti hai kyunke Khudawand ki shaadmani hamari asal quwwat hai. Yeh khushi mushkilat ko door kar deti hai. Yeh khushi bilkul usi tarah hai jaise rail gaari ke pehiyon ke liye tail; tail ke baghair dhurra bohat jald garam ho jata hai aur haadsaat ka mojib banta hai. Isi tarah agar hamari ibadat mein khush-dili shaamil na ho to hamari roohen bohat jald bojhal ho jati hain. Jo shakhs khushi se Khuda ki ibadat karta hai, woh apni farmanbardari ka zahiri saboot pesh karta hai aur sirf aisa shakhs hi aise geet ga sakta hai: “Tu meri khushi hai, tu mera masih hai, tu meri quwwat hai.” Aziz qaari, ab yeh sawal apne aap se kijiye: kya aap khushi se Khuda ki ibadat karte hain? Aaiye hum duniya ke logon ko dikha dein, jo hamari deendari ko ghulami gardantay hain, ke Yahowa Khuda ki ibadat hamare liye kitni bari khushi aur shaadmani ki baat hai. Aaiye apni shaadmani se yeh elan karein ke hum aik bohat hi naik Malik ke khaadim hain.
