Psalm 91:3
"Kiunke Wo tujhay sayyaad ke phande se chhurraiy ga."
Apne logon ko Khuda do tareeqon se sayyaad ke phanday se chhurata hai: us se bacha kar, aur us mein se nikaal kar. Awwal, woh unhein phanday se mehfooz rakhta hai, yani unhein us mein parne hi nahin deta; aur duwwam, agar woh us mein phans jaayen, to woh unhein us mein se nikaal laata hai. Pehla waada baaz logon ke liye bohat qeemti hai aur doosra doosron ke liye behtareen. “Woh tujhe sayyaad ke phanday se chhuraye ga.” Kaise? Aksar auqaat Khuda museebat mein daal kar hamein kisi badi burai ke phanday mein phansne se bacha leta hai. Behtaron ko Khuda ne dukhon mein parne aur saleebon ko uthane ke zariye tabahi se bachaya; balkeh jaise Khuda jaanta hai ke hamari bargashtagi ka anjaam hamari nagahan halaakat par hoga, is liye woh apni rehmat se taadeeb ki laathi ko bhejta hai. Hum be-ikhtiyar keh uthte hain, “Ai Khudawand, yeh sab kyun ho raha hai?” na jaante hue ke hamari yeh museebat hamein us se kahin badi halaakat se bachane ka zariya banti hai. Bohat se log apne dukhon aur apni saleebon ke zariye isi tarah tabahi se bachaye gaye jaise koi nagahan khauf parindon ko jaal mein phansne se bacha leta hai. Doosri taraf, Khuda apne logon ko badi roohani quwwat ata kar ke sayyaad ke phanday se chhura leta hai, taake jab un par badi ke liye koi aazmaish aaye to woh keh saken, “Bhala main kyun aisi badi burai karoon aur Khuda ka gunahgaar banoon?” Lekin yeh kaisi mubarak baat hai ke agar imandaar kisi buri ghari ke phanday mein phans bhi jaaye, to bhi Khuda use us mein se nikaal laayega. Ai bargashta insaan, himmat haar le magar mayoos na ho. Agarche tu bhatakta raha hai, magar sun ke tera mukhallisi dene wala kya kehta hai: “Ai bargashta farzando, laut aao; main tumhari bargashtagi ka ilaaj karoonga.” Lekin tu kehta hai ke main wapas nahin aa sakta kyunke main phanday mein phans chuka hoon. To phir is waade ko sun: “Woh yaqeenan tujhe sayyaad ke phanday se chhuraye ga.” Woh tujhe un tamaam buraiyon se nikaal lega jin mein tu apni kisi nadaani ke sabab se gira hai, aur chahe tu apni rawishon se rujoo laane mein kabhi baaz na aaye, phir bhi woh jis ne tujh se mohabbat rakhi hai tujhe rad na karega; woh tujhe qubool kar ke tujhe khushi aur shadmani se humkinaar karega taake teri jaan az sar-e-nau bahaal ho kar us ki shukrguzaari kare. Woh aasman ki baadshahi ke kisi parinday ko sayyaad ke phanday mein marne nahin dega.

"Lekin Martha khidmat karte karte ghhabra gai."
Martha ka qusoor yeh nahin tha ke woh khidmat karne se aajiz aa chuki thi, balki woh apni behn ke rawaiye se aajiz thi; khidmat karna to aasmani shahi khandan se wabasta tamaam shehzadon aur shehzadiyon ka istihqaq, shi‘aar aur nasb-ul-ain hona chahiye, aur na hi yeh us ka qusoor tha ke woh “bohat khidmat” kar chuki thi, kyunke hum kabhi yeh nahin keh sakte ke hum ne bohat khidmat ki hai, balki aaiye hum sab apni apni haisiyat ke mutabiq hatta-ul-wus‘ khidmat karein aur dil-o-jaan se apne Maalik ka kaam anjaam dein; us ka yeh qusoor bhi nahin tha ke woh apne Khudawand ke liye ziyaafat ki tayyari mein masroof thi, balkeh Martha khush-naseeb thi ke use itne mubarak mehmaan ki meizbani ka mauqa mila aur shayad isi liye us ne apni poori jaan is kaam mein laga di, lekin us ki asal ghalti yeh thi ke woh “khidmat karte karte ghabra gayi”, yani itne kaamon mein ulajh gayi ke Khudawand ko bhool baithi aur sirf khidmat hi yaad rahi, us ne rifaqqat par khidmat ko tarjeeh di aur ek farz ki qeemat par doosra farz nibhaane ki koshish ki; hamein Martha aur Maryam dono ka namoona banna chahiye, yani hamein bohat khidmat bhi karni chahiye aur saath hi saath gehri rifaqqat bhi barqarar rakhni chahiye, jiske liye hamein bohat bade fazl ki zarurat hai, kyunke rifaqqat rakhne ki nisbat khidmat karna aasaan hota hai—Yashua Amalekiyon se ladte hue kabhi na thaka, magar Musa ko pahaar ki choti par dua karte hue apne haath sambhaalne ke liye do madadgaaron ki zarurat padi—kyunke roohani mashq jitni gehri hogi hum utni hi jaldi thak jaayenge, aala tareen phalon ki parwarish sab se mushkil hoti hai aur aasmani nematon ki aabyaari sab se kathin kaam hai; is liye, azizo, jahan hamein zahiri kaamon ko nazarandaz nahin karna chahiye jo apni jagah umda hote hain, wahin hamein is baat ka bhi khayal rakhna chahiye ke hum Yesu ke saath musta‘id aur shakhsī rifaqqat se bhi lutf-andoz hote rahein aur is baat ko yaqini banayein ke Najat-Dahinda ke qadmon mein baithne ka farz kabhi nazarandaz na ho, chahe zahiran kitna hi acha bahana kyun na ho ke hum us ki khidmat hi to kar rahe hain, kyunke hamari apni roohani tandurusti, hamari khidmat aur us ke jalal ke liye yeh nihayat zaroori hai ke hum Khudawand Yesu Masih ke saath shakhsī rifaqqat ko barqarar rakhein aur khidmat ke saath saath apne iman ki haqeeqi roohaniyat ko bhi qaim rakhein.
