"Jesa Tu ne farmaya hai wesa he kar."
Khuda ke waade humein is liye hargiz nahin diye gaye ke hum unhein raddi ke kaghaz ki tarah aik taraf phenk dein, balkeh Khuda ne yeh sab waade hamare saath is liye kiye hain ke hum in se bharpoor istifada karein aur faizyaab hon. Khuda ki daulat kisi kanjoos ki potli mein baandh kar rakhne ya nikammay naukar ki tarah zameen mein chhupa kar rakhne ki cheez nahin, balkeh woh is liye di jaati hai ke hum us se len den karein. Koi baat hamare Khudawand ko is se zyada khush nahin karti ke woh apne waadon ko istemaal hote dekhe; woh yeh dekh kar khush hota hai ke us ke farzand us ki huzoori mein aa kar yeh kehte hue use us ke waade yaad dilayen ke “ae Khudawand, jaisa tu ne farmaya hai waisa hi kar.” Jab jab hum Khuda ke waadon ka zikr karte hain to hum Khuda ko jalal dete hain. Kya aap yeh samajhte hain ke Khuda humein apne waadon ki daulat se malaamaal kar ke khud ghareeb ho jaayega? Ya kya aap ka yeh khayal hai ke apni paakeezgi humein de kar us ki apni paakeezgi kam par jaayegi? Ya kya aap ko lagta hai ke is tarah us ke paas hamare gunaahon ko dhone laayiq raastbaazi kam reh jaayegi? Us ne khud farmaya hai, “aao hum baaham hujjat karein; agarche tumhare gunaah qarmizi hon woh barf ki maanind safed ho jaayenge aur agarche woh arghawani hon to bhi oon ki maanind ujlay ho jaayenge.” Imaan maafi ke waade ko mazbooti se thaam leta hai aur yeh kehne mein qata‘an dair nahin lagata ke yeh to aik qeemti waada hai, maloom nahin sach bhi hai ya nahin, balkeh woh ise le kar seedha takht ke paas jaata aur iltija karta hai, “ae Khudawand, yeh raha tera waada, jaisa tu ne farmaya hai waisa hi kar,” aur hamara Khudawand jawab deta hai, “ja, jaisa tu chahta hai tere liye waisa hi ho.” Jab koi Maseehi imaandar Khuda ke kisi waade ko thaam to leta hai magar use Khuda ke paas nahin le jaata to woh Khuda ki be-tauqeeri karta hai, lekin jab woh yeh pukarte hue fazl ke takht ki taraf daurta hai ke “ae Khudawand, mere paas apni sifaarish ke liye kuch nahin siwa is ke ke tu ne yeh farmaya hai,” to us ki darkhwaast zaroor poori ki jaati hai. Hamara aasmani banker apne waadon ki poori poori adaigi karne mein khushi mehsoos karta hai. Khuda ke waadon ko kabhi zang na lagne dein; waade ke kalaam ko us ki niyaam se nikaalein aur use muqaddas zor-aawari ke saath kaam mein laayen. Yeh mat samjhein ke Khuda apne waadon ki yaad-dehani par hum se naraaz hoga; woh zarooratmand zindagiyon ki pur-zor fariyaadein sunna pasand karta hai. Apne fazl ko jaari karne mein hi us ki khushnudi hai; woh aap ke maangne se zyada dene par aamāda hai. Sooraj roshni dete dete nahin thakta, na hi chashma behte behte ruk jaata hai; waade poore karna Khuda ki fitrat-e-saaniya hai, is liye foran us ke takht ke paas jaayein aur kahein, “jaisa tu ne farmaya hai waisa hi kar.”
Psalm 109:4
"Lekin mein to bas dua karta hun."
Daud ki nek-naami ke khilaaf jhooti zubaanen sargarm theen, magar us ne apna difa‘a nahin kiya; us ne mu‘aamla sab se bari adalat-e-aaliya mein pesh kar diya aur khud azeem shehenshah ke huzoor fariyaad ki. Nafrat bhare alfaaz ke jawab ka sab se mehfooz tareeqa dua hai. Zaboor-navees ne sard-mehri ke saath dua nahin ki, balkeh us ne is ke andar apna poora wajood undail diya; us ne apni saari jaan aur apne saare dil se dua maangi, apni har rag aur apne har patthay ko kheenchte hue, jaise Yaqoob ne farishtay se kushti karte waqt kiya tha. Isi tarah, aur sirf isi tarah, hum mein se har aik bhi fazl ke takht tak kamyaabi ke saath rasai haasil kar sakta hai. Jis tarah saaya be-jaan hota hai kyun ke us mein koi haqeeqat nahin hoti, isi tarah woh dua jismein insaan ki poori hasti haqeeqi tarap aur shadeed aarzu ke saath shaamil na ho bilkul be-asar hoti hai, kyun ke us mein woh quwwat nahin hoti jo use mo‘assar banati hai. Aik qadeem ilahiyat-daan kehta hai ke “josh ke saath ki gayi dua aasmani darwazon par nasb top ki tarah hoti hai jis ki garaj se band darwaze yak-lakht khul jaate hain.” Hum mein se aksar imaandaron mein yeh aam kamzori paayi jaati hai ke hamara dhyaan foran bat jaata hai; hamare khayalaat hama-waqt idhar udhar bhatakte rehte hain jis ki wajah se apne matlooba maqsad ki taraf hamari pesh-qadmi bohat dheemi par jaati hai. Hamara zehan paaray ki tarah hai jo aik jagah theharta nahin balkeh idhar udhar larhak jaata hai; yeh kitni bari qabahat hai, is se humein bohat nuqsaan pohanchta hai aur is se bhi barh kar yeh hamare Khuda ki be-tauqeeri hai. Hum aik aisay fariyadi ke baare mein kya sochenge jo kisi baadshah ke huzoor paishi ke dauran kisi dandi se khelne mein magan ho ya koi makhi pakarne ki koshish kar raha ho? Is aayat ke alfaaz mein aik tasalsul aur saabit-qadmi ka taassur paaya jaata hai; Daud ne aik baar pukaar kar khamoshi ikhtiyar nahin kar li thi balkeh us ki yeh iltija us waqt tak jaari rahi jab tak ke barkat naazil nahin ho gayi. Dua hamara aarzi aur farzi kaam nahin balkeh yeh hamari rozmarra zindagi ka aik atoot ang, hamari aadat aur hamari khidmat ki tarah honi chahiye. Jaise funkaar apne namoonon ke liye aur sha‘ir apne adabi mashagil ke liye khud ko waqf kar dete hain, waise hi humein apne aap ko dua ke liye waqf karna chahiye; humein dua mein is tarah mustaghriq ho jaana chahiye jaise yeh hamari fitrat-e-saaniya ho, neez bila-naagha dua karte rehna aur himmat na haarna chahiye. Ae Khudawand, humein aisi dua karna sikha ke hum tere huzoor darkhwaast-guzaar banne mein din ba din zyada se zyada zor-aawar aur muassar hote jaayen.
