2 - Peter 3:18

“Hamare Khudawand aur Munji Yesu‘ Maseeh ke fazl aur ‘irfaan mein barhtay jao.”
“Fazl mein barhtay jao” — aur sirf aik fazl mein nahi balkay poore fazl mein. Fazl ki jarr ya‘ni imaan mein barhtay jaen. Khuda ke wa‘adon par pehle se zyada mazbooti ke saath imaan rakhein. Imaan ko kamaal, istiqamat aur saada-gi mein barhnay dein.
Muhabbat mein bhi khoob taraqqi karein. Dua karein ke aap ki muhabbat pehle se zyada bari, gehri aur ‘amli ho, yahan tak ke aap ke har khayaal, har lafz aur har ‘amal par us ki gehri chhaap nazar aaye.
Isi tarah farotni mein bhi barhein. Kamaal ‘aajzi ke taalib rahein aur apni nisti ka iqraar kartay hue hamesha yahi kahein ke “main kuch bhi nahi”. Farotni mein nichlay darjon ki taraf barhtay hue, ooper ke darjon ki taraf dua ke zariye Khuda ki zyada qurbat aur Yesu‘ ke saath gehri rifaqat mein bhi khoob taraqqi karein.
Kaash Rooh-ul-Qudus aap ko is qaabil banaaye ke aap “hamare Khudawand Munji ke ‘irfaan mein barhtay” jaen. Jo Yesu‘ ke ‘irfaan mein taraqqi nahi karta, woh apne aap ko aik bohat bari barkat se mehroom rakhta hai. Us ka ‘irfaan “hamesha ki zindagi” hai, aur us ke ‘irfaan mein barhnay ka matlab hai shaadmaani mein barhna.
Jo shakhs Maseeh ko aur gehre taur par jaan-nay ki aarzu nahi rakhta, woh Maseeh ke baare mein abhi kuch nahi jaanta. Jo is may ka zaa’iqa chakh leta hai woh mazeed pyaasa ho jaata hai, kyun ke agarche Maseeh ki qurbat taskeen-bakhsh hai, to bhi yeh aisi taskeen hai jo pyaas ko bujhaati nahi balkay aur barha deti hai.
Agar aap Yesu‘ ki muhabbat se waaqif hain, to jaise harni paani ke naalon ko tarasti hai, waisay hi aap bhi us ki muhabbat ke gehre ghoont bharne ke liye hama-waqt beqaraar aur betaab rahain ge. Agar aap usay aur behtar taur par jaan-nay ki tamanna nahi rakhtay, to aap ke dil mein us ke liye muhabbat abhi kaamil nahi hui, kyun ke muhabbat hamesha yahi pukaar-ti hai: “aur qurbat, aur qurbat”.
Maseeh se judaai jahannum hai, magar Yesu‘ ki qurbat bahisht hai. Pas Yesu‘ ke ‘irfaan mein aik darja aur barhnay se kam par kabhi mutma’in na hon. Barhtay jaen us ki ilahi fitrat ke ‘irfaan mein, us ke insaanon ke saath ta‘alluq ke ‘irfaan mein, us ke kaamil kaffaaray ke ‘irfaan mein, us ki saleebi maut ke ‘irfaan mein, us ke ji uthnay ke ‘irfaan mein, us ki maujooda jalaali shafaa‘at ke ‘irfaan mein, aur phir us ki jalaali aamdan-e-saani ke ‘irfaan mein.
Us ki saleeb ke qadmon mein dairay daal lein aur us ke zakhmon ke bhed ko daryaft karein. Yesu‘ ki muhabbat mein barhein aur us ki muhabbat ke kaamil mukaashfay ko mazeed gehre taur par jaanain, kyun ke fazl mein barhna hamari roohani taraqqi ka sab se bara saboot hai.

Genesis 42:8

“Yusuf ne to apne bhaiyon ko pehchaan liya tha, par unhon ne usay na pehchaana.”
Aaj subah ke kalaam mein hum ne Khudawand Yesu‘ Maseeh ke fazl aur us ke ‘irfaan mein barhnay ke ta‘alluq se seekha, aur ab munaasib yahi hai ke aaj shaam ke kalaam mein hum isi se milti-julti aik unwaan par ghour karein: “hamaray aasmaani Yusuf ka humein pehchaanna (ya hamaray aasmaani Yusuf ka hamaray baare mein ‘irfaan)”.
Yeh pehchaan nihayat mubarak aur kaamil thi, kyun ke us ne humein us waqt pehchaana jab humein us ki koi pehchaan na thi. “Teri aankhon ne meray be-tarteeb maadday ko dekha, aur jo ayaam meray liye muqarrar thay woh sab teri kitaab mein likhay thay.” Is se pehle ke duniya mein hamara koi wajood hota, hum us ke dil mein wajood rakhtay thay.
Jab hum us ke dushman hi thay, woh tab bhi humein jaanta tha. Woh hamari bad-haali, hamari deewangi aur hamari bad-kirdari ko khoob pehchaanta tha. Jab hum na-umeedi ke ‘aalam mein tauba ke aansoo bahaatay hue usay aik ‘aadil munsif aur haakim ke taur par dekh rahay thay, tab bhi woh humein apne azeez bhaiyon ke taur par pehchaanta tha, aur mann hi mann mein us ka dil hamaray liye ba-shiddat tarap raha tha.
Woh apne barguzeedon ke chunao mein kabhi khata nahi karta, balkay woh hamesha unhein apni la-mehdood muhabbat ke zariye jaanta aur pehchaanta hai. “Khudawand apnon ko pehchaanta hai,” aur yeh baat un musrif beton par bhi utni hi saadiq aati hai jo sooar charaanay mein mashghool hain, jitni un farzandon par jo us ke saath dastarkhwaan par baithtay hain.
Magar afsos! Hum apne haakim bhai ko na pehchaan sakay, aur isi ‘adam-e-ma‘rifat ne hamaray be-shumaar gunaahon ko janam diya. Hum ne apne dilon ko us se baaz rakha aur apni muhabbat mein us ke liye koi jagah na chhori. Hum ne us par tawakkul na kiya aur us ke kalaam ko mo‘tabar na jaana. Hum ne us se sarkashi ki aur apni muhabbat bhari itaa‘at usay paish na ki.
Raastbaazi ka aaftaab tuloo‘ hua, magar hum usay dekh na sakay. Aasmaan khud chal kar dharti par aa gaya, magar dharti ne usay na pehchaana. Khuda ka shukar ho ke hamaray woh din ab lad gaye, magar dukh ki baat yeh hai ke hum aaj bhi Yesu‘ ke baare mein bohat kam jaantay hain, khaas taur par us ta‘alluq ke baare mein jo hamaray aur us ke darmiyaan haqeeqi ma‘non mein paaya jaata hai.
Hum ne abhi us ke ‘irfaan ka aaghaz hi kiya hai, magar woh humein poori tarah jaanta aur pehchaanta hai. Yeh aik nihayat ba-barkat haqeeqat hai ke yeh ‘adam-e-ma‘rifat us ki taraf se nahi balkay hamari taraf se hai, kyun ke rahi us ki baat, to woh hamaray zaahir-o-baatin se poori tarah waaqif hai; warna hamaray liye umeed baqi na rehti.
Woh kabhi hum se yeh nahi kahe ga ke “meri tum se kabhi waaqifiyat na thi,” balkay woh apne zahoor ke din Baap ke saamne hamara naam ba-naam iqraar kare ga, aur is darmiyaani arsay mein bhi waqtan-faqtan woh apne aap ko hum par isi tarah zaahir karta rahe ga jis tarah woh duniya par zaahir nahi karta.
