Fakhta Worship (fakhta.org/worship) is a project of Fakhta Foundation, offering worship and praise songs, lyrics, audio, video, sermons, articles and eBooks in Urdu, Roman Urdu and English. Your privacy matters to us, and this policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
By browsing our site, creating an account, or contacting us through any form, you agree to this policy.
Browsing: You can freely browse songs, the library, poets, composers, and worshiper pages without creating an account. Guest favorites are stored only in your browser's local storage and never reach our server.
Account & Sign-in: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google in order to create your account and save your favorites and playlists.
Form Submissions: Contact, donation, testimonials, and feedback forms collect your name, contact number/email, and message. To prevent spam and abuse, your IP address and browser information (user agent) are also stored automatically.
Usage Data: General, non-personal statistics such as how many times a song has been viewed are kept to improve our catalogue.
A necessary session cookie keeps signed-in users logged in, and a short-lived security cookie (oauth_nonce) is used during Google sign-in. Preferences such as theme (light/dark), guest favorites, and lyrics font size are stored in your browser's local storage — these never leave your device. See our Cookie Policy for full detail.
Fakhta Worship does not use an online payment gateway and never collects card details on this site. For premium membership or donations you only share your name and contact (WhatsApp/email); our team follows up manually with bank transfer, JazzCash, or EasyPaisa details. The actual payment takes place off-platform.
We use Google Sign-In (for accounts), YouTube (for video embeds) and, where enabled, Google AdSense (for advertising). These services may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
Your information is used only to: operate your account and membership, save your favorites/playlists, process donations and premium requests, respond to your messages, keep the site safe and free of spam, and improve the overall experience. We never sell your personal information.
We take reasonable technical steps (such as HTTPS and secure session cookies) to protect your data, though no system on the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. Account data is kept for as long as your account remains active, or until you request deletion; form submissions are retained for a reasonable period for administrative purposes.
You may request to view, correct, or delete your account and its associated data (favorites, playlists) at any time by emailing info@fakhta.org. Guest users can remove locally-stored data themselves by clearing their browser's storage/cookies.
This site is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
